HELL YEAH!!!

HA HA HA HA! dumb trolls

Tue Oct 6, 2009, 11:07 AM
hope you at least know who you are. You roam randomly across DA (among other places) and stumble across something that rubs you the wrong way. Then you decide it is your DIVINE mission to complain about it. This act is wrong on so many levels. Let's go in to a bit of detail on just how.

First of all, you, just like everyone else is entitled to your own opinion of what you like or dislike, or for that matter, agree with or disagree with. The world is a big place and you are eventually going to run across something that does not agree with your vision of an ideal world. DEAL WITH IT. Like yourself, others are entitled to their opinions either. Trying to force yours on others makes you out to be an ass. The old adage is that if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all. No one made you click through on the art work that offended you. If it truly is bad enough that it violates DA terms of use, then report it and do everyone a favor. If not, and it's allowed on this site, then guess what, people actually like that and find it acceptable, so do everyone a favor and let them be.

Next up, you are seriously asking for trouble. Personally I am very thick skinned. When I have someone come in and commentbarf all over one of my pieces or on my main page I just hide it. I do this mostly for the protection of the poster. For you see, a couple of thousand people watch me on DA, and out of those many can be quite defensive. If they find your post before I do, they are going to let you hear about it, loudly and repeatedly. Odds are you are also defensive (people petty enough to troll love to venomously reply to any and all comers). Guess what? DA policy considers that spam and harassment. So, chances are, your trolling will get you banned, and then your comments will just be hidden anyway. So what good does that really do in the long run? Newsflash, your obnoxiously broadcast opinion is'nt going to sway anyone towards the path of virtue.

Lastly, no matter what you actually think, DA is not a happy friendly flower covered land of good and innocence. There is quite a lot of mature art here. This is why when you submit you have to specify maturity options and content. Since this kind of stuff is allowed here, don't think you have the need to complain about it. There is tons of stuff up on DA that I personally dislike, but do I go and complain about it to the respective artists? No, I do not. And why don't I. BECAUSE ITS THEIR GODDAMNED RIGHT TO DO AS THEY WANT AS LONG AS THEY FOLLOW THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE SITE.

So, in closing, either learn some manners, or do everyone a favor and go die in a fire. Thank you
